The Colorado rocks used for this nativity set are slightly pitted and naturally rust and cream colored.

Mary's outer robe is painted with bluebell acrylic paint and the undergarment is left unpainted allowing the natural rock color to peek through. Her headscarf is sky blue.

Joseph's robe is painted with garden path acrylic paint and his vest is left unpainted allowing the natural rock color to be exposed. His headscarf is buttermilk with a yellow ochre headband.

Baby Jesus swaddling clothes are unpainted so the natural rock color is exposed. The manger is painted earth brown with yellow straw.

All three pieces are sealed with a protective finish for lasting durability.
